This coffee comes from our award-winning Organic estate in the Cloud Forest of Kaloko in Kona. Consistently very large beans. Managed with intelligence and respect for the land. Washed and fermented, sun-dryed, and only contains 16/64 through 19/64 beans. Broken and chipped beans are removed. Color sorted away from yellow, brown, black, and white beans which impart a bland or sour flavor.
Very good coffee. Roasted in our signature Dedrich Roasting Machines to a Vienna Roast. This roast brings out the complexity of our Organic Cloud Forest Estate Coffee. Nitrogen flushed for freshness. This Organic Coffee is the VERY BEST at Mountain Thunder. Consistently bright and smooth.
