100% Kona Coffee
Our Pure 100% Kona Coffee is, without a doubt some of the most consistently subperb coffee that you will ever drink. On our tour, at our tasting center, we serve our 100% Kona Private Reserve as a double espresso or a 6oz americano. Cup by cup, people are given the Kona challenge, and the coffee they drink is consistently smooth, creamy, and has no lingering aftertaste. Just today, we were tasting chocolate hints in the coffee, which is characteristic of true Kona Coffee. Our Kona Private Reserve is pulped at the wet mill and becomes the choicest 100% Kona Coffee we make. Then we pass the coffee through the dry mill and create a coffee that contains 18 and 19 screen beans. Then, we clean the coffee using the color sorter to make sure that the coffee is of a very good green color. The Private Reserve is consistently the best cup of coffee we make without going organic or indulging in our estate coffees. Kona Private Reserve
Our 100% Premium Kona Coffee is basically the same as the Private Reserve, except it contains beans which are smaller, which is the next step lower on the totem pole. The Premium Kona Coffee contains 16 and 17 screen size beans and then they are cleaned to a perfect green color. The secret in making the Premium 100% Kona Coffee superb is ensuring a less than one percent defect rate with the color sorter. This process maintains the Mountain Thunder quality standard and committment to the best cup of 100% Kona Coffee.

Premium 100% Kona Coffee
100% Kona Peaberry is the product for connoisseurs because not only is this coffee rare, being less than 4% of the crop, but it packs a distinct flavor that is different from our Private Reserve. You will find that the Private Reserve is smooth, while the peaberry packs a more flavorful brew.

100% Kona Decaf is definitely for those who can not tolerate caffeine. With 5% remaining caffeine this is a safe alternative to our caffeinated coffee because it would take 20 cups of decaf to simulate drinking one cup of regular Kona Coffee. Our decafeinated coffee is the best tasting decaf coffee you will ever drink because we are using the best process available today, called the Swiss Water Decaf process. This only uses water, as opposed to solvents, which may affect your cardiovascular system adversely. Can you imagine drinking solvents would do for your health?
