Coffee is #1 source of Antioxidants
At the American Chemical Society meeting this year, the finding that
coffee contains an overwhelming large amount of Hydroxide (OH) neutralizing properties. This finding comes at an opportune time as more and more people are reaching out for a good cup of joe, and that cup could be a very significant source of healty antioxidants. Coffee was studied side-by-side next to high antioxidant food such as milk and cranberries. Researches say that although vegetables are good sources of vitamins and fiber, coffee out-ranks these food in antioxidant values. Although coffee can cause upset stomach and jitters, two cups of coffee per day is reccomended as a good source of Antioxidants. Kona Coffee however, seems to have less of these undesirable effects due to its mild character. It is also said that a person looking to consume a lot of antioxidants should diversify and eat vegetables to diversify.
