Joe Makee is a singer / songwriter in Kona, Hawaii. He did for some time, put together a PBS show called Big Eye Hawaii. In it, he featured different spectacles and news about the Island of Hawaii. Joe Chose to include Mountain Thunder in his weekly broadcast on Hawaii's local PBS cable channel.
Joe placed Trent A. Bateman at the Dry Milling operation and talked with him for some time covering the certification and milling processes of both the State of Hawaii and the USDA. This is a really good explanation of what it takes to certify 100% Kona Coffee.
